Well... simply put: I loved this collection. I woke up early this morning with the intention of driving to a new mall (recommended by my friend), and picking up the Naked Honey treats. Such bliss!

Once I saw the item display, I wanted everything because it was fabulous and had such a cute design! It is such a playful collection.
The first display that I studied was the make-up stand that had the three lipglosses, three eyeshadows, 2 highlight powders, and the two perfumes. I thought it was pretty neat that the lipglosses and the eyeshadows had mirrored colors of each other. For example, the lightest lipglass "She's a Star" and eyeshadow "Crème de Miel," are a mirror of each other in shade. They are both a beautiful pale golden color. =)

Here is the gloss. Very peachy. =)

Here is a good shot of the gloss. ^^^
The last lipglass is called "Buzz." It's a stunning reddish-brown, with a bit of shimmer to it. It's super pigmented, and I recommend everyone to try it on before purchase (just to be safe). When I swatched it on my hand, I was convinced that I should get it. Though as soon as I tried it on my lips, it was pretty dark (which I don't mind dark lips), but the color didn't look good with my skintone. =/ I was bummed.
Once again, the lipglosses are:
-She's a Star
-Queen Bee
-Buzz
Next come the eyeshadows, which are pretty neutral. The first, as I mentioned before, would be "Crème de Miel." It is a beautiful soft golden color, and it's pretty pigmented for being a soft shade (I think that's amazing). In my opinion, this is the eyeshadow to get of the three. For those of you who don't know, the word "Miel" means Honey. I direct translation would be: Cream Honey, if said properly: Honey Cream. Cool right? So this one (to me) is the shadow that stands out most because the collection is all about Honey, see?

I took this shot and you can see more of the actual color there. =) I played around with iPhoto too... it looks all fancy... I'm so silly, lol.

Moving on, the next shadow is called "Pollinator." It is a really pretty peach color, just like "Queen Bee." They only downside, is that it is somewhat sheer. But, still workable and buildable, so that isn't to much of a con. I passed up on this because I already have many shades that are similar if not the same, so it was no biggie.
The last shade is called "Buckwheat." It is a typical brown with some shimmer, but not anything crazy. It wasn't too exciting because I have sooo many brown shadows, but if you don' have many, that's a good one to get. =)
Eyeshadows:
-Crème de Miel
-Pollinator
-Buckwheat
Now comes that highlight powders. = <3<3<3
Oh the excitement I felt was in most part for this! I loved these! Such a cute design, such pretty colors. =D I swatched this before anything else, just to be sure if I could get both or not. I thought it was really cool that they were shimmery on the surface, and more velvety underneath. They explained that it was just an overspray to give it that shiny appearance. I think that is great for marketing. =)
I really wanted to get both highlight powders, but "Honey Light" was was just too yellow on me. =( It was really pretty as a swatch, but on my skin as a highlight, it made me look sickly. It was very sad. I think a person that has a darker skin tone will look fabulous with this though!! The other highlight powder is called "Golden Nectar" and I really like it for a bronzer/blush. It's beautiful on me like that, so I definitely puchased it because it serves as a soft bronzer, and I have been looking for something like it for the longest. Yay!

Here is how it looks inside. As you can see here, there is a shimmer all on the surface except on the left, where I rubbed to collect the swatch.

This was the best picture of them all. The swatch of the "Golden Nectar" is there on the left. =)
Highlight Powders:
-Honey Light
-Golden Nectar
The next items would be the three body products which are: a shower gel, a hand and body cream, and my favorite of it all, the Skin Salve. =) I really loved the packaging for the shower gel and cream, but they are limited edition items, so once your out, you can't go and get more. =/ That turned me off, plus there wasn't anything extraordinary about it because it's just a typical shower get with a honey scent. I also kept in mind that LUSH 'Honey I washed the kids' will always be there, and it smells better. The one thing that I was itching to get and I'm going to have to buy back-ups (because it's amazing) is the Naked Honey Skin Salve. You can use it anywhere that needs moisture, but my main use will probably be lips because it's hydrating, smells amazing (just like honey), and tastes good for once (a mild honey taste). It's divine. I normally use LUSH's "Honey Trap" lip balm, but it brings way less product and seems more like an "on the go" item, so I'm just going to stick that in my purse and continue using the Salve. I want to buy more before they're gone, but I think that they are going to fly off the shelves, and my hope is that MAC will get a *hint* and make this permanent. *HOPES*

Here it is in the box.

This is the decorative lid. Isn't it cute!? The Shower Gel and Cream Have the same design.

Here is what it looks like inside. Looks like honey is going to drip, but it's not It's pretty thick. =)
The last two items would be the perfumes! I adored the first scent called "Naked Honey." It's so flirty and bright yet carries a nice honey scent. When I think of honey, I normally think of a warm homey scent, but this is the opposite. It's a brilliant and fresh honey scent that will light up a room. =) I am definitely going to purchase that later on.
The second scent is called "Africanimal," and it's a more spicy scent. It's not too overwhelming, plus it's definitely warmer than the first. It's a nice scent, but I preferred Naked Honey. =)
I hope this helps any of you that were curious. Have a wonderful day!
xoxo
