Purples are in, huh?

Wow, well either it's a coincidence, or it's in style.

Purple Nails.

I've just been noticing a lot of guru's using the color, at the same time that I was playing around with lilacs. I have to admit, I'm in love with it! I've been loving the contrast it does with my skin, it's summery... yet still sophisticated. When I went nail polish shopping, I was tempted on getting the typical hot pinks for the summer (which I will eventually use), but I didn't want to use the norm, I wanted to play outside the box. =)

So, I grabbed different Lilac nail polishes. My favorite habit though, is layering different polishes to get an amazing one, haha. So yesterday, I brushed OPI 'Eiffel for This Color' which came out a while ago with 'La Collection De France.' They had plenty of purples to choose from in that collection, it was one of my faves. Over that, I brushed Sally Hansen's '17 Platinum' which is see-through-ish, and added a wonderful glowy pearl finish to the nails. I <3 it!
